THE 2008 LEXUS JUNIOR RUGBY FESTIVAL
In the four years since its inception, The Lexus Junior Rugby Festival has quickly become a fixture on many rugby clubs’ sporting calendars, bringing together 4,000 competitors in four age-groups (U13 – U16) from 50 clubs, across the country.
The tournament gives high-class junior players the chance to continue to develop their potential in a competitive but supportive environment; a unique event which we are proud to have made our own, with six regional tournaments taking place over three weekends in September and a national final on Easter Saturday 11th April 2009.
Building on the successes of the previous years’ events, 2008/2009 Lexus Junior Rugby Festival promises to be a rewarding event. New for 2008 is the involvement of ITV local who will be filming the festivals with a view to showcasing match play on a dedicated area on the ITV Local community website.
